thoughts about building my own website

Now that I'm about to reopen, relaunch, re-release (??proper terminology is always confusing to me) my website I can't help but feel a huge rush of excitement and anxiety. Just the idea of existing in any space has always made me feel scared and the reason why I have always ended up deleting my social media presence over and over again (traditional social media also feels so depressing). I'm EXCITED though!!! I can't believe I haven't made my own website sooner and I wish I knew that I could have sooner.
At this point, this is my third time remaking my website from scratch. The whole process took me almost two or even three weeks to complete, but I'm pretty happy and satisfied with my work. After I re-launch my website, my main goal will be working on the shrine pages I want to create. I feel a bit wary about getting really into the social aspects of the indie web currently, but I am open to the idea of meeting kind individuals. Also, I should probably add that I plan to open my website up on 4/20/2026. I just had to take the opportunity.
